Editing & Proof Reading

Editing or proofreading sometimes can be really hard, especially, when you have a big and difficult text to edit or proofread. When it comes to editing – the main point is to read the whole text, properly understand it and edit the weakest points without changing the main context or any key parts of the text. If a student is not a professional writer or editor, and has no experience in academic editing and proofreading texts, it can take him up to 1 hour to properly edit 1 page of the text. In most cases, the essay, research paper, term paper or thesis, consists of more than 1 page, so eventually the student ends up paper editing for 24 or more hours. There are situations, when editing takes much more time, than writing the paper itself.
